TRAINER ONLY INITIAL Safety Care Trainer Class (3 days) FILLING
Monday March 3, 2025 8:30am - Wednesday March 5, 2025 4:30pm EST
This is Safety Care Trainer INITIAL class for those who are approved by their supervisor/school leader Safety Care Trainers.  In order to attend this class your supervisor/school leader must have agreed to release you for the full 3 days and fund the cost of the class through the OSS process.  The in person competency-based training is scheduled for a total of 3 days, 8 hours each, but may require less or more time. Please dress comfortably and wear close toed shoes because there will be a lot of movement and hands-on activities. Bring something to write with as well as water, snacks, a lunch, etc. We will take a couple 10-15 minute breaks during the training, as well as a lunch break.  Again, it is not a time-based training but a competency-based one and trainees cannot pass unless they have completed all of the content areas and demonstrated understanding of concepts and fluency with physical safety and management. You must attend the entire duration of the training.  If you cannot attend, please remove yourself from the list AND email Erica Andresen at eandresen@bostonpublicschools.org in order to free up the spot for someone on the waitlist.
